This meet has been known throughout its history as the:

and perhaps by a few other names.
Historical stuff:
According to old clippings from the Winston-Salem Journal (and its now-defunct afternoon newspaper The Sentinel), the boys meet has been held each year in some form or another since 1960.
1964 was the first year in which team scores were kept.
This meet was started by former Reynolds coach and biology teacher Bill Webster, who later taught at Mount Tabor.
The meet was held on old cinder and dirt tracks until the mid 1970s. The first year on an asphalt track was ____.
In the early 70s the winning team won the "Twin City Kiwanis Club Trophy".
For several years the meet was a major late season competition and rivalry that local teams pointed and aimed toward. Due to scheduling difficulties the meet became more of an early season invitational, with often worse weather and fewer record-breaking performances.
