Teams from all four classifications are encouraged to participate. Last
year's meet was a huge success with South View winning the boys meet and
Southern Nash, the girls meet. Entry fees are
$60.00 per school for a boys and girls team or $40.00 for one team.
Individuals from schools are $10.00 each up to three.
Registration has opened for the 2006 Southern Nash Invitational Relays
on Direct Athletics. Contact Meet Director, Alton Tyre for entry details
prior to registering with Direct Athletics, if you have not received
entry information. Registration will be open until 11:59 PM on Monday, March 13.
The first 25 schools will be accepted into the meet.

constructed shot and discus areas. This promises to be one of the best invitationals in the state this season with top programs representing all four classifications.

Entries must be in by 6:00pm on Monday April 17, 2006. Packet Pick-Up will begin at 9:00am on Saturday Morning April 22, 2006. Packet Pick-Up will be located at the entrance to the WCU Track and Field facility in front of the black fence. There will be no coaches meeting prior to the start of the meet. Heat sheets will not be placed in your packet, they will be posted on the walls at the top of the stadium.
Results will be posted on the wall also. Results will be able to be obtained at www.catamountsports.com under the track and field page or at www.cfpitiming.com. Awards -- 1st thru 3rd will receive medals for each event, this also includes relays. The top three teams with the highest team scores will also receive a team award. The sore will be computed on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 scoring system. Awards will be handed out as soon as the final results of each event are completed. Athletes will be called to the infield, please have athletes there to receive their awards.

In the OVAL races, each athlete must get a race number we will have at the meet. This will be the only way for them to get their time. This is going to be a fast, little paperwork meet. Heats will go from FAST to slow. We will line up the athletes in lanes by their speed that they tell us. Timing: We will use our new finishlynx cameras. This will provide FAT times for all sprint races. Entry fee: None, each High School must help out in an event!! We will assign events ahead to each team. Fri/Sat - May 19/20...NCISAA 1-A/2-A (Durham Academy, Durham)
The race is designed with men under 17:00 & women under 21:00 in mind, but men under 19:00 & women under 23:00 are welcome to run. Of course, we won't turn anyone away, but because it's on a track, space is limited.
Women's race will start at 5:30 PM. Men's race will start at 6:00 PM. We will take the top 15 people in the first heat and add additional heats as needed at 6:30 (men) and 7:00 (women). High school athletes are discouraged from wearing team uniforms, as this race is unofficial. Race entry is free. Awards to top 3 men & women. Contact Rick Spencer at:

Hosted by Raleigh Running Outfitters. Open 1600 and 800 for any athletes who
want to run a personal best. This is a great tune-up for anyone competing at
Nike Outdoor Nationals. All events will be run under the lights starting at
