In the 2-A race second place went to N. Henderson's
Shiyrah Mielke (r) and third to Mitchell County's
Jessi Ouzts. Mielke (19:35) is a sophomore, and completed
a 1-2 finish for N. Henderson. Ouzts (19:36) is a junior.

After 1.5 miles the leaders in the 1-A race are
Kasey Smith (South Stokes) and Erika Schneble (Hendersonville).

Sophomore Kala Robertson (Surry Central) placed
3rd in the 1-A race with a 19:29.
